Purpose and confirmation
Pennumi helps shoppers create personal records from products, shelf labels, receipts, and information they confirm. Automated extraction, matching, arithmetic checks, comparisons, and missed-offer warnings are aids only and can be wrong.
Shopper responsibility
Retailer prices, taxes, availability, promotion dates, eligibility, limits, package sizes, and checkout calculations change. Users are responsible for checking original evidence, correcting proposals, and deciding whether to rely on a record. Pennumi does not establish that a retailer overcharged anyone and does not provide financial, legal, tax, or consumer-protection advice.
Only intentionally added static retailer loyalty or membership barcodes may be stored in the loyalty feature. Payment cards, government IDs, insurance cards, access credentials, gift cards, and unlawful content are prohibited.
Availability and acceptable use
Internet access and third-party services are required for some functions. We may correct, limit, suspend, or discontinue features to protect security, availability, or cost. Users may not defeat security or rate limits, misuse service credentials, upload material they lack the right to process, or use the service unlawfully.
Local records and backups
Pennumi is not a permanent receipt or photo backup service. Local records can be lost if the device, app data, or backup is lost. Users should export important structured records and retain original receipts as appropriate.
Intellectual property
The app, Pennumi branding, and original software belong to Lemon Street Enterprises, LLC or its licensors. Retailer marks, product names, and third-party data belong to their respective owners. Users receive a limited personal right to use the app while following the final terms.
Disclaimer and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the app is intended to be provided “as is,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, Lemon Street Enterprises, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages or losses caused by inaccurate records, retailer decisions, missed offers, device loss, or third-party services. Local law may provide additional rights.
Governing law and changes
The proposed governing law is Massachusetts, United States, except where consumer law requires otherwise. The final effective date and contact address will be added after legal review.
